Playboy announces rummy game

The owner of the media company Playboy has teamed up with software system developer and gaming tech partner Gaming Technologies (Gametech) to establish a new Playboy-branded real-money Rummy mobile game for the Indian market planned to launch in 2021. PLBY Group, a pleasure and leisure lifestyle brand, and owner of the Playboy, and Gaming Technologies, the owner of the Mexico-based interactive licenced online casino and sports betting and gaming brand Vale, have announced a partnership to offer a new Playboy-branded, skill-based, real-money Rummy mobile game to the Indian market. The game is set to debut in 2021, which will be released later.

For almost 25 years, Playboy's worldwide portfolio has thrived in Asian markets such as China and Japan. Playboy, in cooperation with Jay Jay Iconic Brands, a major fashion and lifestyle firm in India, extended its worldwide consumer products business into India earlier this year.
