The Indian Olympic Association announced Adani Group as a sponsor for the Indian team at the present Tokyo Olympics on Friday.
The news was revealed by IOA Secretary General Rajiv Mehta, who is currently in Tokyo.
We are happy to inform you about one more sponsorship which is confirmed by Adani Group to IOA for the Olympics since our last update to you on 16th July.
Mehta, Secretary General, IOA, tweeted.
Adani has confirmed to us a good sponsorship association and support for future also.

SFA Pvt Ltd, one of IOA's sponsors for the showpiece event, had previously been disclosed by IOA itself.
We are happy to inform you about one more sponsorship which is confirmed by SFA Pvt Ltd to IOA since our last update to you on 14th July, said Rajeev Mehta, Secretary General, IOA. SFA has confirmed to us sponsorship of Rs 1 crore, he added.
MPL Sports Foundation has already signed sponsorship deals with IOA as the 'Principal Sponsor' for the Tokyo Olympic Games, 2022 Asian Games, and Commonwealth Games.
Herbalife, a worldwide nutrition corporation, was later announced as one of the IOA's sponsors.
According to the IOA, MPL would pay Rs 8 crore to the IOA. Furthermore, to that they will also supply the Indian team with sportswear for the 2022 Asian and Commonwealth Games.
JSW Group was also announced as a sponsor for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in June. The IOA claimed Parth Jindal, CEO of JSW, had acknowledged the sponsorship of Rs 1 crore to the governing body in a statement issued by IOA chief Narinder Batra and Secretary Rajeev Mehta.
Amul had also expressed interest in supporting IOA for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Amul has agreed to sponsor the event for Rs 1 crore until December 31, 2021.

After dropping Chinese sportswear giant Li Ning as the Indian team's official kit sponsor for the Tokyo Olympics, IOA finalised the deals, claiming that the participants will wear unbranded clothing during the Games.
