According to information received by JustGamblers, Priority Play has confirmed that all sweepstakes casino brands operating under its program will cease sweepstakes gameplay in Tennessee, effective January 22, 2026.

As a result of this decision, players located in Tennessee will no longer be able to participate in Sweepstakes Coin (SC) gameplay across any Priority Play-managed brands. While Gold Coins (GC) will remain available, all sweepstakes-based play will be disabled on the effective date.

The affected sweepstakes casinos are the following:

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. EST on January 22, 2026, Tennessee-based users will be blocked from using Sweeps Coins on all games. In addition, Priority Play will stop accepting mail-in requests for free Sweepstakes Coins via the Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) from Tennessee. Any mail-in submissions bearing a postage or delivery date of January 21, 2026, or later will not be honored.

Players with existing Sweeps Coin balances are advised to take immediate action. Any remaining Sweeps Coins in Tennessee accounts will be forfeited on January 26, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

To redeem eligible Sweeps Coin balances, users must complete KYC verification before the cutoff. No KYC applications will be accepted or reviewed after January 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Players who have already completed verification and qualify for redemption can cash out Sweeps Coins until the forfeiture deadline on January 26.

Gold Coins gameplay will remain unaffected by the change. Tennessee players may continue to use Gold Coins for entertainment purposes without interruption.

Priority Play has also instructed its partners to immediately halt all marketing, promotions, and traffic originating from Tennessee and to update promotional materials accordingly.

This move marks the latest state-level exit by Priority Play as sweepstakes casino operators continue to adjust their US footprint amid increasing regulatory scrutiny heading into 2026. Last time, they exited the state of California in December, 2025.
