- July 11, 2024: Betway announced that Betway Sportsbook is exiting the U.S. While Betway Casino continues to operate in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, sportsbook bettors cannot make deposits or bets after July 31.
- July 4, 2024: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board fines the operator of Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia, Stadium Casino RE, LLC for $100,000 because their employees took and placed sports wagers over the phone. Proxy wagers are prohibited in the state.

- April 23, 2024: Isaiah Rodgers, the defensive back of the Philadelphia Eagles, was reinstated by the NFL after a year-long suspension for violating the league’s policy on gambling. Reportedly, he bet on his own team at the time, the Indianapolis Colts.
