✅ How We Decide What Sites to Test and Review

Our testing process is comprehensive and thorough. We use and test online casinos, sportsbooks, DFS apps, and sweepstakes casinos just as you would. We sign up and deposit money regularly for testing purposes, and then we review all features while evaluating different aspects as outlined in our rating methodologies.

When it comes to selecting brands for testing and review, we follow a rigorous process. First and foremost, the brand must be licensed and regulated by US authorities. We also consider the brand's popularity and availability across multiple states, as these factors indicate the brand's reach and potential interest to our readers.

• How popular is the gambling brand? By following the industry, we have a good grip on the actual numbers behind the scenes and gauge opinions in forums and third-party websites to see the most discussed brands.
• In how many states is the gambling brand available? We prioritize gambling brands available in multiple states over single states to give readers as much value as possible. The more states a gambling brand is available, the higher priority it receives from our testers and reviewers.

❌ The Types of Sites We Do Not Test

It's important to note that our testing and reviewing scope is limited to gambling brands with valid US licenses. This means we do not test or review offshore or illegal sites from the perspective of the United States and American players.

Overview of Gambling Website and Mobile App Testing Practices

Our brand testing is an ongoing process since we periodically revisit old brands to see what they’ve been up to and make changes to our reviews accordingly. However, for the first test, we always spend at least 5 hours during a two-week period. Here is a short overview of our testing practices:

• Real money deposits: $20 (or game credits in case of sweepstakes) deposit to test all features that require real money.
• Testing time: 5 hours is the minimum testing over two weeks.
• Test persons: At a minimum, one tester with relevant gambling vertical experience.
• Devices used: Desktop/laptop and mobile, including tablets.

Software and firmware checks: macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android. We perform a general compatibility test for the most popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Vivaldi across desktop and mobile.
