FAQ Punt Mail-In Request
Why Do I Need a Postal Request Code?
The Postal Request Code is what links your mailed request to your online account, confirms the request was generated while logged in, and prevents duplicate or automated submissions. Each code is unique and intended for one request card only.
What’s the Most Common Reason Mail-in Requests get Rejected?
The most common issues are: information doesn’t match the account exactly, the Postal Request Code is missing or incorrect, more than one code is written on the card, illegible handwriting, missing required statement, or using printed or typed text instead of handwriting. All these small errors can result in a void entry.
