Yellowbrick Holdings Limited created Runestake. Unfortunately, little information about the company is available, which is always concerning regarding financial transactions and commitments.

The website design is good, with a clear branding direction. The platform is built around its community, providing a live chat experience where users can interact and leave reviews. However, the chat can only be accessed by receiving at least 50 XP points, which can be collected through gameplay and interaction on the Runestake platform.

It is stated on the site that no purchase is necessary to play, but to get anything for free, you must make a purchase. The customer support confirmed that the only way to get free coins is by joining social media contests and giveaways. So, there are no on-site options to get free coins. Runestake doesn’t support mail-in requests either, which are standard for sweepstakes and required by sweepstakes laws in the US. This is a shame and throws a lot of shade on Runestake because, on their landing page, they have a lot of advertisements around “no purchase necessary,” none of which is accurate.

Another alarming aspect is that Runestake is not committed to responsible gambling. There are no policies, information, or education about it.

Considering the above, even if the platform is well made, there are fun in-house games, solid software providers, and an overall good UI, I simply can’t give Runestake more than a 2.5 rating out of 5. This is the worst rating I’ve given a sweepstakes casino so far.
